Following the success of WeavingSongs II at Harmony Hall Centre for Seniors, WeavingSongs III — directed by Amanta Scott — brought together Bengali, Tamil, West Indian, Chinese and English-speaking seniors singing in four languages for a series of public performances at Pacific Mall and other locations in Markham, 2012.

WeavingSongs II was an intercultural exchange project designed and directed by Amanta Scott for Bengali, Tamil, Chinese and English-speaking seniors conversing and singing in four languages.

Hosted by Harmony Hall Centre for Seniors, WeavingSongs II culminated in a public performance attended by an audience of 130 people.

WeavingSongs I was an intercultural exchange project directed by Amanta Scott, hosted by the The Ethiopian Association in the GTA with Ethiopian, Burmese, South Indian, Swedish and First Nations participants - singing, sharing stories, discussing traditional weaving patterns, and exchanging cultural proverbs, in 2010.

An intercultural choral ensemble directed by Amanta Scott with Burmese, Filipino, Haitian, Latin American, Caribbean and native Canadians. This project was designed by Amanta at the request of Burmese/Karen refugees and immigrants seeking to facilitate integration into Canadian society through the arts.

University Settlement Choir

A five month workshop in preparation for Amanta's project Shellshock. This project evolved through weekly workshops with University Settlement Choir — integrating sound, found objects and movement with music composed by Amanta Scott — sound effects and choreography were conveyed through graphic scoring; with lyrics sung in Spanish. Singers learned to integrate sound and movement with performance and song.

Ethiopian Jazz

Building bridges between communities, Amanta Scott plays Ethiopian Jazz and collaborates with musicians Girma Woldemichael, Andegarchew Mesfin, Fantahun Shewankochew and Daniel Barnes — for charitable fundraising events including the People-to-People Gala to benefit Aids Orphans in Ethiopia and the Toronto Addis Ababa Academic Collaboration for Psychiatric Rehabilitation to send doctors and psychiatrists to Ethiopia.
