Artist's & Visitor's Comments from the Book of Fame:

"Suitcase is a diorama

Your life is not the only drama.

Teddy bear - projected sympathy cannot make you free"

Responses:

"The scene is the completion of utter madness
but there is a perfect harmony discovered in the madness.

All useful items are discarded (e.g.: clothing)
demonstrating uselessness of the physical -
therefore an emphasis on the spiritual is created.

The ritualistic nature of the setting
is balanced by the two bibles on either side of the bed - open.
They suggest a permanence is human madness which is born from the foundations of human existence - the words of God.

Open passage: Stand past therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage: Galatians 5:1"

"Demonstrates the liberty within struggle through faith.
Therefore faith as a response to the foundations of the Word of God
puts man's life into perspective.
The perspective is that in comparison to the eternity of existence
man's life is a single breath.

The attempt to comprehend this creates madness.
Because man is flawed madness is harmonious
because it comes through the problematic nature of existence
which is the struggle of man to realize himself as creation."
