In June 2006, The TASIS School in Dorado, Puerto Rico, invited Amanta Scott to direct a three-week Syncretic Art workshop for two groups of 40 students ages 7 - 10 and 11 - 14.

May 2005, as guest artist during the exhibition of LockDown at the Art Gallery of Algoma, Amanta directed Found Sounds Moving - a syncretic art workshop with the community, encouraging people to sing and dance in response to visual art. |

| Nov 2004 - March 2005, Amanta was Guest Artist for the Claude Watson Arts Program directing a five-month Syncretic Art workshop for 35 dance students integrating found objects, music and dance, culminating in a public performance. |

Also in 2001, Amanta directed a five-month inter-generational Syncretic Art workshop for "youth at risk" and seniors, in which youth performances integrating movement, sound and sculpture were toured to local seniors' homes, festivals and art galleries in the Kawartha Lakes region. |

| In 2000, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts invited Amanta to direct a three-week Syncretic Art Workshop centred around the theme of the doorway as a symbol. |

| Entitled DoorWays 2000, the workshop examined the political, spiritual, psychological, and/or social significance of the doorway through installation and performance. |

| In 1998 Amanta was resident artist at the Edmonton Art Gallery, during a six-week exhibition of Dragon Tango. She conducted twice-daily Syncretic Art workshops for students grades k - 12. |

In 1995, Amanta Scott was honoured with an Artist Fellowship from the Japan Foundation. During this six- month residency in Japan Amanta lived in a one-room cabin on top of a mountain in the foothills of Mt. Fuji where she created the dragon sound sculpture installation - Dragon Tango. |

| In 1994 the Government of Japan - Agency for Cultural Affairs honoured Amanta with an Artist Fellowship Award which enabled her to live in Japan and study Japanese culture, music, art, theatre and dance. |
